Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to focus on developing advanced algorithms for trend and anomaly detection in spatial data, with a particular emphasis on integrating various data sources to improve interpretability and accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning applied to geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced AI and machine learning algorithms for trend and anomaly detection in spatial time series data
- Design and execute data integration strategies to combine remote sensing data with in-situ and environmental data
- Collaborate with the R&D team to improve the accuracy and interpretability of geospatial products
- Implement cutting-edge machine learning and AI techniques to enhance spatial data analysis capabilities
- Contribute to the development of new applications and products in the field of remote sensing
- Participate in technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and spatial data science, and apply new techniques to our workflow
Requirements:
- Bachelor's,Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Geographic Information Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on algorithm development for spatial data
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, and signal processing
- Extensive experience working with geospatial data and GIS technologies
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Earth Engine, AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with remote sensing concepts and data types
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Experience with time series analysis and forecasting is a plus
- Knowledge of InSAR or other radar remote sensing techniques is beneficial but not required
